THE GOLD COIN
In Aramaic, the word “Dahav” (דְּהַב) means gold. Dahav designates literal gold in the Aramaic sections of the prophets Ezra and Daniel. In twenty-three appearances in the sacred scriptures, it functions both as a physical treasure and as a spiritual sign signifying the rebuilding of the temple.
